TIG welding and PVD finishing:
where a joint
disappears or does not

Not structural welding with a prettier surface. A sequence of decisions about heat, filler and dressing — and then one batch of one colour.

Run in 304 or 316L in our own factory in Foshan — cutting, forming, welding and finishing are all done in-house.

The step that decides how it looks

A joint either disappears or it does not. There is no version where it is almost invisible.

Welding stainless for architectural work is not structural welding with a prettier finish. It is a sequence of small decisions: heat input, filler choice, dressing method, and the order in which the part is polished afterwards.

Then the surface. Brushed, mirror, or PVD — and the PVD line runs one batch per colour, which is why we will not split a batch to save days.

The three things that decide the result

  • Heat input. Too much and the panel distorts; too little and the weld is not fused. Both are visible after polishing.
  • Dressing before finishing. A weld is ground, dressed and inspected before the part goes anywhere near a plating line.
  • One batch, one colour. Two PVD runs of the same colour are two colours, and they will be next to each other.

What goes wrong in weld and finish

Weld dressing is part of the price

Every visible weld is dressed and inspected before finishing. It is not an option and not an extra.

If skippedFiller sits in the surface differently from the parent metal and shows as a grey ghost through a mirror finish.

Colour is measured, not eyeballed

ΔE is read against the approved sample under a fixed lamp, per batch.

If skippedTwo elevations of the same lobby are visibly different, and nobody can prove which one is wrong.

One PVD batch per colour

We hold the line for the whole job rather than splitting it to hit a date.

If skippedThe first shipment and the second shipment do not match, and the second one is already on a ship.
